He is enough today

He is faithful
When we are lost in darkness
When our backs are against the wall
When we feel the stares of our enemies
He remains
When the walls close in on us and we endure hardship
He never leaves us
His love shines brighter
His arms are stronger
His reach is longer
His hope is mighty
His joy will sustain
His peace will remain
No matter how far we descend
He’s a friend to the end.
His love is not weak, whimsical, passé, or temperamental
There is nothing as wide as the love of Jesus
