    (everything) is Yours

    (everything) is Yours
    from entrance
    to exit
    from tears
    to joy
    from winding road
    to rushing wave
    from highest peek
    to darkest depths
    you are above
    around
    beside
    from new moon's birth
    from changing tide
    You speak to starfields
    Your grace echoes
to the distant bounds of eternity
    from simplicity
    to infinite complexity
    Oh warrior God
    lover of creation
    who would stand against You?
    who would pause
    the divine, endless
    dance
    toward
    this mysterious answer
    yes.

    admission

    Lord
    i beg
    right this feeble stumbling manner
    look past my inward contemplation
cast down my ever present idols
mercy me to Your ever living throne.
    the wickedness of my unbelief
the self help bootstrap great illusion
    the lonely child of yesteryear
i'm falling through the tides of wonder
    seeking first your saving grace.
    Amen.

    and the rain begins

    gone is the light
    done is the day
    thunder rumbles gently
    the grace of the darkness
    reminding me
    calling me
    toward thanksgiving
    and the rain begins...

    beloved captain

    Power with grace
    Mercy with Justice
    a fine mixture
    blessed and holy
    forgiving and perfect
    my Love
I lift my hands into the mystery
I see the Face of forever
close the day Lord with azure sky
    ring the dawn
    fair and renewed
    draw me in, beloved captain
grace the earth stage with the dew.

    considering the complexity of descent

    crest and height
    stand and bow
    now tempest tossed
    contains me now
    the blood drenched cross
    the burden borne
    the weeping mother
    broken, torn
    thanks and mercy
    spark and flight
    rescue me from
    the desperate night.
